For Chinese newspaper, i actually like to read See Hua 詩華日報。Inside 詩華日報 , the business news section is actually taken from Oriental Daily and renamed to “詩華日報財經” , this is good idea since both daily have the same boss.
For Chinese daily, they are very competitive. Most of them comes with a separate copy which East Malaysia version. For example, SinChew is actually a 3-in-1 newspaper, you actually get 3 copies - they are SinChew Sarawak, SinChew national and Malaysia Daily News.
The Borneo Post has a lot of foreign news which i love to read, 6 full pages of them and i think they are good reading material. That probably tells why it is the largest English daily in Borneo.
